Knowing where to look when you want a trusty smartwatch that won’t drain your bank account isn’t always easy! However, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro may be a great choice. Its rugged design and mid-range price tag are great, and the range of accurate tracking and varied sports modes make it an excellent companion. Check out what we found when we took a closer look!

How Well is the Amazfit T-Rex Pro Designed?
If you like the rugged look, then this watch is perfect. The display is 1.3 inches and comes in full colour, making it easy to read and interact with.
However, if you were hoping for something new in terms of looks, then this isn’t it! The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is similar to the previous model, the Amazfit T-Rex, but the new model does come with four screws in the bezel to give it more of an industrial look.
The watch weighs in at 59.4g, is shock-resistant, and can cope with temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C. However, the watch does feel pretty heavy on the wrist, which might not be for people who want something more refined.
Smartwatch Features
This watch comes with some features that all appear to work really well. For example, you can easily receive notifications from your phone to your wrist. Choose from a range of watch faces, control your music and even analyze the sleep you achieve each night.
Plus, when you connect it to your phone, you can know the weather from your wrist. However, the lack of a more extensive features list is slightly disappointing, especially when you consider just how many features there are.
Health and Fitness Insights on the Amazfit T-Rex Pro
The health and fitness features are where the watch really shines! It has heart rating monitoring, Sp02 monitoring, mapping features, and over 100 different sports modes to choose from.
You can also take this watch into the water, and it will stay intact up to 100m deep! This is an enviable feature as many mid-range watches offer swimming capability, but few allow for diving. Not only does the watch offer GPS tracking, but the data is accurate. This is helpful if you’re training for a marathon and want to monitor and track your progress.
Amazfit T-Rex Pro Battery
When it comes to battery life, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro can last up to 18 days! However, when the battery was tested, it became apparent that to achieve the full 18 days, you would need to do all of the added features minimally.
When you use the watch moderately to track daily exercise efforts and use some features, then you are looking at around a week’s worth of uninterrupted use—still pretty good.
Conclusion
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is an interesting watch with a huge number of sports and fitness features. However, the large, masculine design and heaviness may not appeal to everyone.
The battery life is good, but the range of smartwatch features is lacking, and this is a bit disappointing when it is being sold as a watch that can do everything. However, when you consider that the Amazfit T-Rex Pro is a mid-range watch, the number of features on offer is impressive!
