These monthly challenges inspire Garmin users to get up and active, awarding them medals and badges when they reach goals.

What’s The May Garmin Connect Challenge?

Each month Garmin gets creative and develops a range of fitness challenges to get users moving. If you missed out on April’s events, don’t worry! The lineup for May is looking exciting too.

There are 12 unique challenges for users to tackle. Users can use their Garmin smartwatch to track their progress from step count challenges to gains-based activities.

Some challenges run for the entirety of the month, but others only run for a short time. For example, the May Step Month goal runs from the 1st to the 31st, yet users can only join May Weekend Walking from the 6th to the 8th.

How Can You Access The Garmin Connect App?

You’ll need a Garmin wearable and the Garmin Connect app to participate in these fun challenges. 

Luckily, the Garmin Connect app is free and easy to download. Users can find this app on the Google Play Store and the App Store. When downloaded, open the app, select “More,” select “Challenges,” and then press “Join Now” to opt into the challenges that take your fancy. 

Garmin Connect can also be accessed via desktop, so don’t worry if you’re having trouble downloading the app!
