Created by Oppo, the Oppo Watch range is here to provide an alternative to iOS watches. These watches may look similar, but their operating system is different, and users can enjoy Oppo’s tech, which is ‘designed to create a smarter and better life.’ 

The latest Oppo Watch 2 was released in August 2021, so it’s been approximately a year since the last release. Now, fans of the brand are waiting to see if there will be a third Oppo Watch for 2022.

What Can We Expect On The Oppo Watch 3?

So, what do we know about the rumored Oppo Watch 3?

Well, last month, the Oppo team confirmed that the third watch would join us in August. Not only that, but the team announced that the Oppo Watch 3 should be here around August 10th – the same day as the Galaxy Watch 5. 

Also, the team released that the next wearable would come complete with Snapdragon W5 Gen 1. This means the next Oppo wearable will receive an essential upgrade from the older Snapdragon Wear 4100 software. 

Where Is The Oppo Watch 3 Launching?

When discussing the Oppo Watch, a common question is ‘Where will this smartwatch be launched?’

Oppo is a Chinese company, so we expect the first launch to occur in China. Past Oppo Watches were launched in China, then India. European and US customers had to wait months to get their release, and some countries received different hardware and software. 

Oppo will likely use the same release format for the Oppo Watch 3. However, we’d love to see the release sooner in the US and Europe, as this would provide even more competition for the Galaxy Watch 5. 

What’s The Price?

There aren’t any confirmed price specifications for the Oppo Watch yet. But, the Oppo Watch 2 started at $200 last year, and we think customers will be looking at the same benchmark price. 

So, if you’ve been considering the Oppo Watch, you might want to opt for the second generation to save money. When the new model is released, this price is likely to drop.

Though we’re still waiting on features and design updates, it won’t be long until we see the Oppo Watch 3. This wearable is set to be a big contender. We hope it’s launched into the US and Europe markets quickly so we can get our hands on it!
