The Polar Pacer Pro is set to be the second generation of the popular Pacer smartwatch.
While the original Pacer is already a well-loved, premium wearable, rumored information points to added features and improvements on the next model.
This is excellent news for any Polar fans, especially if you’re interested in OLED displays and high-tech fitness features.

What Do We Know About The Polar Pacer Pro?
Though there’s no official release, Roland Quandt (a WinFuture journalist) tweeted some upcoming smartwatch images.
This may sound unreliable, but Polar actually filed for a Polar Pacer trademark last year, adding some credibility to the claims. This trademark lists the mysterious Polar Pacer as a “Scientists and electric apparatus” and a “Medical apparatus and instruments.” Does this mean some exciting new health sensors are on the way?
The trademark filing goes on to list a range of goods and services, including these key hints:
- Distance
- Speed
- Altitude
- MP3 Player
- Humidity
- Blood oxygenation
- Electrocardiogram
- Lactic acid
- Skin conductivity
These are just a few of the possible features listed on the patent, hinting at a very exciting smartwatch on the horizon.
Interestingly, the Polar Pacer Pro lists an extensive range of medical goods and services, alongside smartwatch features like “Mp3 Player” and “Downloadable computer software.” This may point toward the watch being a cross between a high-performing tracker and a day-to-day premium smartwatch.
What About The Potential Photos?
The information from the patent is interesting, but the leaked images of the possible Polar Pacer tell us a lot too.
This smartwatch looks very similar to the Polar Vantage range from the potential visuals. With a circular display, physical buttons on the sides, and OLED technology, this is a modern-looking smartwatch.
It also appears that this smartwatch will be available in black, green, beige, and violet. The straps of the watch color match the body, leaving users with a cohesive design.
The images also expose the underside of the watch. Though the front is reminiscent of the Vantage range, the bottom looks more like the Polar Unite. The Unite watches offer a heart rate monitor and accelerometers, but they lack SpO2 sensors. Hopefully, SpO2 will be added to the range.
It’s also likely that the Polar Pacer Pro will offer water resistance up to 50M since the other Polar watches offer this waterproofing.
Who Is Polar?
Polar is on a mission to keep its users fit with expert wearables. This company has been in the industry since 1977, proving its dedication to the craft.
Their products also cover multisports needs, cycling, running, and general fitness. There are products for all fitness occasions, from heart rate sensors to accessories. You can even find heart rate monitors for horses too!
Final Thoughts
It’s unclear when this smartwatch will be released and if it’s 100% real yet. However, it’s exciting to see the latest images. Whether you’re a fan of sports-optimized smartwatches or not, the Polar Pacer range is set to impress many smartwatch fans.
