About The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid
This new watch contains elements of the popular Gen 6 range, but there are new and improved hybrid features too.
Design
The new wearable is available in two different designs: Stella and Machine.
The Machine watch comes in a 45mm size with a unique textured bezel. It’s also available in Smoke, Black, and Silver colorways.
Alternatively, users can opt for the Stella watch, which comes in a 40.5mm size. The Stella is available in Silver, Two-Tone, and Rose Gold – providing more feminine options.
Both watch styles are available in different styles of bands, including leather straps, silicone sports bands, and three-link metallic options. There’s always room for attractive design when you buy from Fossil.
Features
The Fossil Gen 6 was already packed with premium features, so we’re excited to see what’s new for the Hybrid.
It looks like the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid has an all-important two-week battery life, helping users to avoid frequent charging. This is important since the smartwatch’s life span is one of the key features shoppers look for.
Another new feature is physical watch hands, giving the wearable a classic watch look. This takes away the traditional smartwatch-style screen, but this design will be a treat for anyone not interested in funky watch faces or images.
Other Important Features Include:
- Sleep tracking
- Step counters
- On-wrist notifications
- Continuous heart rate monitors
- Workout modes
- SpO2 monitors
Finally, a key feature to note is a built-in microphone for voice assistance. Voice command allows you to speak into your watch, saving time and effort. Fossil is working with Amazon’s Alexa to provide this handy feature.
Companion App
Alongside on-wrist features, the watch provides a redesigned companion app. This handy tool can connect with both iOS and Android devices. Plus, the app now includes more personalization options and a more extensive fitness data dashboard.
However, Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid users won’t be the only ones to benefit from this tool. Other Fossil watches will be compatible with this redesigned app. Updated UI for everyone!
Price
Wondering what the price for this updated wearable is?
The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid should be available from the 27th of June, costing $229. If you opt for a metallic band, it will cost a little more at $249.
