Recent leaks suggest the Fitbit Ace 3 could launch as soon as next week (March 15th 2021).
Two years after the Fitbit Ace 2 was released, WinFuture has leaked the photos, spec and documentation of the brands next fitness tracker for kids.
As with all leaked information, it cannot be 100% guaranteed; however, this is what we think may be available soon:
Design
The Fitbit Ace 3 is not too dissimilar to its predecessor. It offers a rectangular screen and bright colours. The most significant change is the size of the screen. It increases from 0.7-inch to a whopping 1.4-inch OLED display with 240 x 240-pixel resolution. However, it appears to be in grayscale rather than colour. As you can see in the image, the colour variants are black-red and blue-green. The Fitbit Ace 3 has a slightly softer, more rounded design to the Ace 2 and includes a physical home button. Furthermore, the watch weighs in at a light 70g.

What Features will the Fitbit Ace 3 Have?
It’s worth noting; Fitbit Ace 3 does not yet include GPS. Consequently, the focus is still on fitness rather than safety or smartwatch features. Fitbit has chosen not to include a heart rate monitor. However, the standard fitness features are still available such as pedometer and sleep tracking. The sports modes include running, hiking and cycling. Whilst there is no specific information regarding the water-resistance of the Fitbit Ace 3. Its predecessor was waterproof to 50m and suitable for swimming, so it’s unlikely this would reduce for their latest offering.

The Fitbit app will give kids access to a variety of information such as their daily routine and statistics. Furthermore, it will motivate them to move with virtual badges and avatars. Parents can also maintain control through approving friend requests and monitoring their child’s activities.

Battery Life
The battery life is also significantly improved with the Fitbit Ace 3, offering 8 days! This is a massive 3-day increase on the Ace 2.
